Course Description:
Each week we will explore a poem in depth, then use that discussion as a springboard for introducing a legal issue related to the poem. Each week’s theme will differ, some being of general application (5th Amendment privilege against self-incrimination), some pertaining to current events (cougar hunting in Idaho, the Mirkarimi trial).
No prior knowledge of poetry or the law required.
